We work with the natural voice - connecting the body to the individual, and the individual to the group. The natural voice is released rather than trained. We find that the natural world inspires us to be connected in this way.

Who We Are

Lakeland Voice organises and leads community choirs, singing events - workshops, concerts, tours, holiday, and more - led by David Burbidge who has been a member of the Natural Voice Network for over 30 years since training with the founder Frankie Armstrong in 1992.

We believe in making singing available to everyone - and making the singing as easy as possible to enjoy.

Go to our news page to read about upcoming singing events - and we will then look forward to singing with you soon.

Singing is our birthright

"What ever you can do, or dream that you can do, begin it - for boldness has great power, beauty and magic in it." Goethe

To book, please send an email to davidburbidge@hotmail.com to check there are still places.

When this is confirmed, you pay a £50 deposit to reserve your place with the remainder due 6 weeks before the event. If the event costs less than £50 you don't pay a deposit - you pay the full amount. Your payment can be sent via online banking - the bank details will be sent by email. Or by cheque or cash in advance.

If you cancel more than 6 months before the event, there is a full refund - after that we reserve the right to keep your deposit. The deadline for paying the balance is 6 weeks before the event  - after that we reserve the right to keep your full payment as it is often hard to find a replacement.

If you find someone to take your place they are most welcome to join us and they can pay you the cost of your booking. If we find someone to take your place, we reserve the right to keep your deposit to cover our admin costs.
